I first got into technology and programming in high school by starting out programming in Java via Netbeans in 2015 during a computer science class. From there, I decided to pursue a degree in Computer Science at Texas Wesleyan University. While pursuing my undergrad degree at Wesleyan I built strong foundational knowledge in C++ with core foundations in it along with Database Systems, HTML, and Java for programming languages. During my Junior and Senior years that focus switched to learning the behind the scenes on how operating systems work, how they function, and how software engineers use those concepts and apply them in real life situations. Over the summer of 2025, I pursued a certification course and became certified as a Level One Professional Scrum Master to utilize Agile methodologies and principles in the world of programming and software engineering. Healthy Paws was my senior project that utilized iOS based platforms and outside database integration with stacks to make accessing information across several profiles easy and accessible.
Through my academic work and senior project execution, I have built a foundational stack focused entirely on the iOS ecosystem along with regular programming development tools.
I believe that mobile applications should solve real-world problems elegantly. Healthy Paws was built from the ground up to reduce the stress of pet ownership by organizing complex veterinary records, vaccine schedules, and exact dietary needs into a single, seamless user interface.
Thank you for checking out my senior portfolio. I am always open to discussing iOS architecture, programming, any of my projects, pet health, and I am open to potential job opportunities.
